HIWM Seyyed Abolhasan Navvab, the President of the University of Religions and Denominations, expressed felicitations on the birthday of Jesus Christ to all believers in God and followers of Abrahamic Religions.
According to the public relations department of the University, HIWM Seyyed Abolhasan Navvab, the President of the University of Religions and Denominations, congratulated this event in a statement. His congratulation statement is as follows:
“In the name of Allah the Gracious and the Merciful; [And mention] when the angels said, O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah ]. (Quran; 3:45)
The birthday of the envoy of mercy and the bringer of good tidings of virtues, Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him), is a blessed and scared occasion to memorialize the word and the spirit of God who was revealed upon Virgin Mary. This is also to celebrate with, and congratulate all believers in God and the followers of the Abrahamic monotheism, particularly the Christians across the world and in Iran, those who relate this joyful occasion with their solar calendar to welcome the New Year.
The University of Religions and Denominations, while congratulating this occasion that is beyond any religious shade to all Christians across the world specifically our fellow Christian nationals, wishes the best for their health and success. The University hopes that all followers of the Abrahamic religions, by adopting mutual cooperation and coalition, utilize the extensive scope of their divine faith and religious morality to resolve the anxieties of mankind and step forward to reduce discomforts and anguishes.”
